Will the other lot be any better? They couldn’t be worse, but they need to set out some clear priorities and stick to them. Among other things, they should cut the bloated public service, invest the savings in a genuine reform of the chaotic health/hospital system, get tough on youth crime (and mean it), arrest the decline of standards and outcomes in the education system, remove the ban on uranium mining, moderate the extortionate royalties imposed on mining companies (especially coal companies), resist the activist push for a treaty with Aboriginal people….. and the list goes on. Have Crisafulli &co got the courage and competence to implement such an agenda? Time will tell …….
