Also not a downramper, but definitely should have been immediately clarified albeit with the caveat that they clearly rely on here. Why not announce it?
This company far too meek and quiet for the leadership position they have been thrust into.
Would happily see Lynas back away from the trough, but the company has a long history of seeking/needing/getting government largesse, so I'm resigned to the fact.
More than ever investors need Toyota Byd to start cranking out EVs. Byd is bringing batteries and labor, Japan might be bringing the motors and magnets. Not sure it matters.
But I am sure China would be very happy to see Byd consuming Mt Weld REEs purchased by JOGMEC. Just another way they can pick the mountain clean at prices they control.
