The best thing for shareholders to do is to organise a campaign to replace the Board. At the very least, the Chairman should go. The CFO and Secretary are also culpable. Voting down the Remuneration Report at the AGM only sends a warning and requires a second such before the Board has to be replaced. It is a fall-back if. in the circumstances, the Board does not have the decency to go with initial pressure.
