Yup really. What price was this company worth before we heard of this app? Less than a cent were what my shares were going for. What assets do they have other than some money that's being burned.
For the record I do hope the app works- obviously, but read the announcement again. It only says the app doesn't work now, not that it will work. For all we know it may never work with these new requirements. Data retention could really slow it down. Actually that's exactly what it sounds like. How would the announcement differ if that were the case? That announcement seemed carefully worded to me.
