If AZZ released the statement to the market that they executed a sale and purchase with no conditions precedent for $250M (10x market cap) without sufficient due diligence, there will be a lot of questions that they will need to answer to from ASIC.

We don't know that they didn't exercise sufficient due diligence but they have not provided details of standard due diligence details (as requested by ASX) that you would have expected them to have conducted prior to making any announcement.
