I think the ASX is trying to curb the use of social media so that there isn’t anything put out there that could be misconstrued by the market. I’m not a lawyer nor am I an expert on listing compliance, but I can’t see anything in that Tweet that is outside the lines, although I do think it was ill-thought-out.

The response to the ASX Aware Query was in my view was the equivalent of being cheeky to a police officer, not an offence, but not advisable either. We’ll get a bit of a talking to and no doubt be told to respond to ASX queries with the seriousness they deserve. Like it or not but we march to the beat of the ASX’s drum.
