In addition to commercialising a world-class portfolio of wastewater related technologies, through this new business division, we are bringing to market a range of industry leading water treatment related products and services.

As we embark on our next stage of growth, we are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Water Treatment Service Technician to join our fast-growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of high-quality water treatment related services to a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with both our technical and commercial teams, in a fun and fast-paced work environment, to achieve organisational goals. The role involves:

• Supporting the selection, delivery, installation, commissioning and maintenance of water treatment related plant and equipment.
• Performing onsite water sampling, testing, remote monitoring and reporting to ensure exceptionally high levels of service provision and client satisfaction.
• Performing both scheduled and breakdown related maintenance of water treatment related plant and equipment.
• Proactively assist in identifying opportunities to achieve better client outcomes, through improved service provision and/or system upgrades.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant trade qualification (mechanical / plumbing / electrical).
• Experience as a service technician (or similar) within water & chemical treatment of any kind including water treatment, wastewater treatment, cooling towers, boilers, softeners, chillers or other similar industrial wastewater related settings.
• OR
• Analytical laboratory related experience within the chemical and/or water treatment sector and now eager to get into the field in a more applied role.
• A valid Australian Driver’s Licence, flexible to travel to client sites and comfortable working independently.
• Excellent stakeholder and project management skills with the ability to proactively provide strategic and customer centric solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ideally able to interpret engineering drawings and prepare professional service reports.
• A positive and resilient approach, willingness to expand skillset on an ongoing basis, with the ability to pivot as corporate priorities change.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for functioning as part of a high-performing team
• Genuine interest in sustainability and making a difference.

Additional Skills

As stakeholders will depend on the support of the Water Treatment Service Technician, it is important the successful applicant be willing to support other team members, in order to meet organisational priorities. In this regard, any experience and/or knowledge of the following, whilst not essential, will be highly regarded:

• Experience in water testing in an analytical laboratory (or similar setting).
• Experience in an engineering contracting role, particularly in the wastewater (or similar) industry.
• Experience in the energy and/or mining sector, particularly in a water treatment related setting will be highly regarded.
