Clearly the company and the board need to assess the findings, seek legal advice, understand the impact of the issue and then take an extraordinary decision of calling a trading halt. I have sympathy for the letter to be digested and the issue to be analyzed over the weekend including the financial impacts. This whole smart money leaving wasn’t due to a regulatory issue. Everyone would concede that. All storm in a tea cup. If a company went into trading halt based on every correspondence with a regulator it wouldn’t trade.
