In my opinion, Immutep has provided comprehensive justification for its actions in its Response to Query Letter, given the confidentiality and market sensitivity of its intellectual property, with reference to the timing of its submissions and presentations, the company's need to ensure ongoing conference opportunities for data presentation, and the company's necessary compliance with the Listing Rules.
By contrast, the questions and requests for information in the ASX Query letter show a lack of understanding of the nature of intellectual property and the company's consequent need for confidentiality, and a lack of appreciation for the data's possible sensitivity and value.
ASX Listing Compliance even confuses IMM with IMU at several points in its letter!
Not a good look for an entity charged with oversight of corporate compliance.
