It's what it's, but feels to me like the correct way to handle the situation they described in their letter was to have a trading halt or voluntary suspension, not to say "oh well we just have to keep this quiet".
People don't keep their mouths shut. That's reality. 4DS effectively left a truck of high end stereos parked in an unsecured driveway with the keys in, engine running and the doors open because everyone just accepts "that's industry standard".
