If the authorities are so concerned about this issue, then why not seek the disclosure of the 'traders' in say the 1st 15 mins of this trade spike and then investigate why they commenced sells and buys of LYC. You can't blame automated trading, there would be someone that triggered the buying.
Just goes to show that the ASX is just like the casino vultures. Always raises queries for share price increases ( casino bans 'lucky' winners) yet when the share price loses 10% on no announcement or news, the ASX (just like the casino) doesn't ask questions.
