So the SP was going to get completely smashed after the results were published either way. Probably the same amount of people would have got out at a similar prices anyway as they are the ones thinking 'sh1t - protect my capital' the rest will sit there blindly convincing themselves despite reality that MUS will rise like the phoenix.

Yes. But if the TH had have been in place, nobody would have been buying Monday. They would have known the outcome of the auction before they did any trading.
