You just proved my point. if material information is known while the market is trading, a trading halt must be called. under your example HCT can make an announcement pre-open on 20/2 but given the trading on 19/2 the asx is likely to issue a 'please explain' or 'aware' letter. HCT may have acted totally appropriately, but they still might get a please explain. that's all I'm saying
