I have been wondering when, rather than if, the please explain request would get to CVV.

Wish it was that easy to tell mineral content before assays B.

RC drilling into low grade copper gold (<<1% Cu; <<1 g/t based on most previous intersections) can be fairly difficult to estimate with any degree of accuracy. Difficult even with diamond core for copper in the 0.5% range and nearly impossible for gold.

Some variants: green or black copper "oxides" in the weathered/supergene levels could be obvious and higher grade. Given the density of previous drilling such intersections may be of little areal extent.

The interaction between rig geos and drillers could be a source of information leakage. For the geo(s) to be certain good grades are present requires quite a lot of experience so a distinct possibility this could be the case. I wouldn't want to bet the farm on most visual estimates from RC.

I have looked back through quite a few announcements and open files but been unable to find the source of this image.

Using the holes shown on it I did come up with a rough location for the section and put it on this image from the 2015 EIS report.


Playing around with a combination of the two images I have come up with an interpretation of a moderately overturned synformal structure which may be plunging (getting deeper) to the south.
Hole 15WHRC002 146m @ 0.4% Cu would plot roughly in the fold nose of this interpretation. Hole 15#7 shows how variable the thickness can be, also Au grade variability.
