It would be one of the biggest political backflips I've ever seen.
"Gas lead recovery" and then reject a massive Gas project that is close to a central population with high unemployment. It's just not in the realms of reasonable likelihoods. I'd say <1% chance this does not get approval. The worst thing that could happen is LNP drag their feet wanting a perfect opportunity to announce this (I'm sure they would've loved to when Scomo was in Newcastle a few weeks ago). Reality is they will want this out sooner rather than later.
