I remember all the rants against the 'crazy'people who presented the well-known facts about why it was a doomed strategy. Remember all the "unhinged" accusations, when it was put forth that it was stranded, no infrastructure, too deep, and subject to environmental sessitivity. Remember,when presented with the facts that their supplier of choice, Airproducts had a flagship Texan business that cost over $100 a tonne to store each tonne of co2 and because they were using coal the co2 cost per tonne of hydrogen alone was >$2000. temember all the posts about gas having half the co2 per tonne of hydrogen. As it turned out, it was a flawed strategy and the 'unhinged' were 'hinged'. Rather than engaging in a factual debate, there were those who chose to name call because they couldn't see past their confirmation bias. A costly exercise.
