You not reading the post. Simply Wall ST article was published on 25th but price started manipulation since 23rd on wards. On 24th I place screenshot as to how it was done.
there was no reason for company to point figures at simply wall street as price started going up well before that so it was irrelevant discussion in the response in the first place and required further investigation.
obviously, it is role of ASIC and ASX to investigate as they can easily tress back the the person buying and selling including the person who simply putting bid for support/resistance and then cancelling it. So authority has to investigate.
if you have reason not to discount trading before 23rd then give the proof ? and add that to your complain to ASIC and ASX.
last time a person got caught used identity of multiple people and created multiple id and doing this but still got caught and the article did came out on AFR. so this type of investigation takes time but only authority can do it and they don't need any proof from anyone else as they have enough of digital print available to them through brokers to catch up if there is anything wrong but there is no reason for stock like VN8 to pump up 100% because the company talked about M&A months ago and nothing happened to the price so no reason to believe that old news have any relevance to current price movement of 100% + in my opinion.
