    It's not capitalism, it dishonest behaviour - there is no disclosure. If you want the law of the jungle, you should try the Shanghai Exchange, but personally I'd prefer to encourage honesty in our markets, no matter what they company. I also make the point, if you allow someone to deceive others, next time it could be you. Really well companies do not engage in this kind of manipulation.

    I am happy for the company to advertise, I'm not happy it to misrepresent a view to market participants. Your example of a record company is a false comparison when people listen to a song they know exactly what they are getting if they choose to buy it. They are also not buying a different song than what was advertised.
    Yes, lots of companies do this kind of stuff and it should be a big red flag about management credibility. If the company can stand on its merits, then it should be able to demonstrate that based on things like investor day presentations and announcements to the marked rather than through this kind of dishonesty
