A very funny response by Albert Longo to the ASX query.

ASX asks "We have noted a change of price of the Company's securities from 10.5 cents on 20 January 2011 to an intra day low of 8.3 cents today. We have also noticed an increase in the volume of securities being traded." etc

To which Albert replies "In response to your correspondence dated 28th January 2011 regarding an increase in the Company's share price and the volume of shares traded, the Company's response is as follows" etc

Really, " an increase in the Company's share price"? Well I guess it is Friday, and knock-off time is not far off, but one would expect a bit better than that.

So, how can one accept anything else presented.

Given this is a very small operation, there is no reason why they did not publish the cashflow statement today (or weeks ago).

I have to re-read the activities report. How much did they spend in this quarter, what is the size of the creditors outstanding. How much life in existing operations ( gold ounces) and what would be the downtime to production if they need to move to a new site? Could they afford to be without cashflow for some weeks?

Thinking. Well AAM is getting closer to my spec buy-in price - money that I would have to accept could go down the drain. But certainly all is not lost here, just very painful for all to watch.

No doubt some are accumulating for a trade, and will sell for a 2 cent gain.
