Acquisition prospect is a long way off IMO. If it does happen it wont happen until next year when Bluff gets the regulatory approval. The management of CLR seem to have a history of heavy self promotion. In any case Bluff is a very tiny resource and the majors are still trying to divest large coal resources of their own onto the market.

Think recent event was a pump and dump exercise. Would not be surprised to see sp going back to sub 20 cents in the same manner this stock seems to have been manipulated down.

But then again, quite a number of beaten down coal stocks have enjoyed similar and BETTER sp rises recently hence I wouldn't read too much into the takeover prospect.
