Can't the company just respond with
'Our company has had the absolute bejeezus ramped out of it on the hotcopper daytrader thread. Once the hearts have left the building and the newbies are stuck holding shares in a company they know nothing about, volumes and share price will return to pre-ramp normal. This reversal may begin as early as tomorrow, although in this current market it may not happen until after the share price rises another few hundred percent.'
