I think one needs to be careful reading to much into those spreads as if you were to pull the spreads for all stocks trading most have a wall to break through.
Are all stocks being accumulated by a big player? No imo.
Fact is there are a lot of traders who buy and are quiet happy to take 10% / 15% and are prepared to wait awhile to get it if the down side is minimal.
I think thats all your seeing in most cases,imo.
