Thanks for digging this up, it’s quite informative. Namely, that the need for no biopsy is for lymph nodes only and is not referring to the primary breast lesion itself. So someone with a breast lump could have a core biopsy of the breast lesion itself and then have the magsense test if they are HER2+. This would then allow for preoperative planning of +/- axillary lymph node dissection.
It is NOT replacing biopsy of the primary lesion and it can only be used in patients that are HER2+.
