Maybe I could have worded it better - essentially I'm saying they are hamstrung now by compliance, as they have notified the market that there is nothing imminent or known that would require a trading halt.
Doesn't mean that is 100% true, it just means that to avoid the 'wrath' of the market operator/s they need to ensure price sensitive announcements are not this week (note wrath is in quotation marks as it can be anything from a wet lettuce to mild heartburn in most cases!)
