I dont think you fully understand hes not your normal invester hes running trading like a business (income less expense) hence why he does not get CGT discount. Think if it like buiding company they sell property for living they do not get CGT disocunts if they have an asset held under their name for longer than a year . This is the same. Like he said not everyone on here is a retail invester.
