I agree @Chillicop that few like consolidations but it does make little sense.

At that stage heaven forbid even a dividend could be in the offering if you held long enough.

I over subscribed to a rights issue early 2020 at 1.5 cents and hold in the belief that I could possibly be paid that in a

dividend one day. Delusional - I think not. The long dated free options I'll exercise close to the date of expiry.
