The truth is in the middle. Yes too many shares can affect the appreciation of the share price. But that is especially true when there is not much going on with the company. You know, no announcements and nothing exciting happening. But when the company is at a point of a major event with lots of news and future potential, than the SOI becomes irrelevant. Because at the end of the day you look at he MC and how much you are willing to invest.
