Maybe a situation is evolving with VRX with regards to changes in the major
shareholdings which will bring about the addition of new people to the board.
I'm thinking, of course, of the euro investor. If they are indeed Delphi & co,
any further increase in their % holding would raise this possibility. Delphi
have board seats on a few other ASX resource companies where they have
a major holding. Apart from euro, it surprises me somewhat that the Top 20
shareholders list doesn't seem to feature many of the usual insto investors
like HSBC, BNP Paribas, JPMorgan, UBS. This surprises me given VRX are
probably the closest to actual production of any ASX sand miner. Maybe it's
because silica sand is not one of the long standing resource investment areas.
VRX do have Citicorp, but that's about all. The Top 20 list I'm looking at on
Market Index is probably out of date. Does anyone have any more recent
info on the Top 20 list ?
All IMHO, DYOR
