CSL plans to build an mRNA facility to develop vaccines, I think for flu but with potential for other applications. With $12 billion in revenue I’m sure their investment is not dependent on whether they get government funding. Surely the federal government would want to spread mRNA capability across more than one facility and not put all its eggs in the one CSL basket.
