I’ll accept that argument the day the ASX make short sellers (and specifically the merchant banks lending the stock) announce on market that rapid declines in a stock price on a given day are due to their targeted attacks (in the absence of any tangible news!).
Apply the handbrake in both directions for fairness and transparency (I know of course that there is more chance of snow on Christmas Day in Alice Springs than this ever eventuating…).
