It would be nice if ASIC would be useful and prosecute the improper algorithmic trading on the ASX and not do the easy stuff like if a companies share price goes up X percent send them a "please explain"
Below I have highlighted the trades today with a total value of less than $100, in most of these trades you can see that the small trade pips the SP down and the others are probably capping trades to keep the SP down. This practice is a blatant disregard to the laws and maybe ASIC should actually do some clever investigation rather than sending out simple speeding tickets when the reasons are obvious.
On the positive side there is an active investigation and a senate inquiry in progress.@fitzroy5 there are so many examples......
