Let's see if the toothless tiger ASIC will do anything about this......
It is not in the company's interest to see the share price fall so an insto can obtain an placement at a better price. If I was the company I would be rescinding the placement. Someone has to stand up to this sort of behaviour.
I've been saying these guys would take advantage of the SP and do a placement. For all those who discounted that conjecture, let this be a lesson learned.
