Bot trading, the ASX is riddled with it, and you wonder why it is so hard to break out. Especially in the current environment, they cap the price in milliseconds as soon as it is about to turn to green (getting retails excited). Then once the bots arrive, the retail market have second thoughts and get fearful and it falls back as people cancel their buy orders. They have technology and the latest market metrics on their side, they run the show! Then you see the late day sell orders arrive at 4.10pm like clockwork to ensure a red day plays out. It is like ground hog day. The only way to overcome it is to have better market conditions and constant news flow to ensure the higher retail volume arrives. This will break out in a big way imo, mark my words! Just need this TC exploration and drilling to ramp up which will be happening this quarter.
