Good discussion on the Money of Mine Podcast on the disparity between gold producers and explorers and even a mention of Gina in Ecuador.
Today was a bad day for most of my small caps and I don't believe there is anything behind today's drop with TTM. TTM has had a good run up from 1.7c to 5.5c and it's not a surprise there has been some profit taking. We have seen more activity with a takeover bid for copper play Rex Minerals and the big players continue to signal their intentions of chasing more copper.
We really need some more news to make that charge towards 10c. That's expected later in the month with finalising the Linderos JV with Gina and the initial Dynasty JORC Resource upgrade. We are also expecting a JV for Copper Duke this year.
As painful as days like today are, I remain hopeful that at some point, the tide will turn for well run explorers with great assets.
