They are in talks with another party but haven't done any due diligence yet. It may proceed or it may not. The price query has come from the ASX at a point in negotiations where they are unable to confirm anything, but if it goes ahead and came out later, they would potentially be accused of not divulging information when they were asked.
It's pretty funny to see people on here who complain every day about the company not keeping them in the loop about everything, now complaining when they are told about something that is in the works but not certain.
Let them do the due diligence and announce it in due course. We don't need any ill informed asset purchases, just look at where that has gotten Synlait.
