I have no issues with whether there is an acquisition or not. I prefer to have dividends and have some if thag money back to shareholders. But the fact that the trading halt specify that trading was halt not just due to price query on fridag but also to a potential acquisition means that they are planning to release that info. A2m doesnt have to say anything with regards to an acquisition on the nnouncement of the trading halt.
It can be just due to price query..... why specify it in the first place unless you are ready to announce. I do understand that due diligince have to be done and can you imagine every due diligence or start of negotiation on something and the company releaae auch update. Its the only forat tine i have seen a company does that i e. Announcing a trading halt with specifics for acquisition but not following on it. Its better just to say trading halt on price query full stop.
