I work in Super. I can tell you now that economic situation absolutely has a material effect. When times are tough, people look to every possible avenue. You might have an issue that you've been thinking about for awhile, now times are tough and it's spurred you into thinking about alternatives. Remember, TPD typically means unable to return to your qualified occupation. A lot of tradies for example have trade related health issues that they work through and tolerate but can easily be ruled for a TPD. You make times difficult and they realise they're insured for a few hundred thousand and they'll make it work. They can still return to another job like an office job too.

Your post is word salad and doesnt make any sense.For starters A TPD doesnt gve you a choice, - you cannot work throught it.
