Look at the pre-registrations from a Netflix/Spotify perspective. People got the free trial (why wouldnt you), they liked what they saw and now they gladly fork out $15/m for both on auto pilot. People equate the monthly fee to "50c/day" and justify the cost immediately, next thing theyve got it for life. That's how ive got Netflix and Spotify and i hardly use them, but i keep them regardless coz its "$1/day" and so on..... If its a boss product people froth over, they'll upgrade to paid subscriptions no worries and they'll just add it to the list of hidden life costs. And that's just simpleman 'logic' on product uptake... imagine what a well marketed, hot product aimed at a target audience could achieve. Might even get one myself and i dont even game, its only 50c/day yeah
