To be fair, TIM have 6 months to provide those 100k paid subscriptions. Without going back to the original ann, I believe the deal is 64% of net profit to Emerge. If these subscription numbers aren’t met, I think TIM escape the deal with a paltry contribution to the prize pool put up by EM1. Whether EM1 still gets 64% of the net profit in that case, I’m unsure. From EM1’s response to asx questioning, they have some sort of verbal agreement with TIM around a lot of their dealings. Sounds good for TIM, the way I read it is if they get less than 100k paid subscriptions, they can bail out for chicken feed.
