Greg?s business experience is a blend of operational management and investment banking.
He completed a B.Com (hons) and MBA at UNSW part time while working for BHP Co Ltd and Philips Industries during the 1960?s. During the 1970?s and early 1980?s he held several line management roles in public companies, concentrating on rejuvenating businesses that were poorly performing.
In 1984 he joined Kleinwort Benson, a major English merchant bank in the role of corporate adviser, concentrating on hostile takeovers. This role developed into specialising in IPO?s and capital raising.
Greg has been involved in several of the largest IPO?s and privatisations in Australia and in the only privatisation in PNG. He held lead roles in the Qantas, Telstra 2 and Orogen Minerals privatisations and in the IPO of Westfield America Trust. He has been involved in numerous other floats and M&A transactions ranging in size from $4m to $200m.
More recently he has taken these skills into a private practice and has no affiliations with any bank or stockbroker.
