I guess as an AVZ shareholder, my priority is to see AVZ manage the things that are within their control.

As an ASX market participant, I would assume that ASIC and the RBA ought to regulate the ASX.

As a tax payer, I guess rather than tear down the regulators for their ineffectiveness, I ought to support them and see that they receive effective funding so they can do their job. Any moves to further reduce their budgets ought to see alarm bells ringing.
