No I think what they are saying, and to rework your analogy, Coles sell $50m of cakes a year, they take you on as supplier and estimate that they will purchase $5m of those cakes a year from you. You report that $5m figure. After awhile you realise that Coles aren’t coming through with their estimate so reassess your reporting methodology to ensure greater accuracy.
Doesn’t sound dodgy to me.
