A thought for those considering lodging complaints against ASX, OM, AFR, SMH, The Age etc now, soon, or in the future.
4 Corners, senators Jane Hume, Andrew Bragg et al, the Commonwealth Ombudsman, Media Watch etc - might think that ASX investigate all ASX listed companies in the same manner they have recently investigated ISX, not realising that ASX are in fact singling out ISX and "witch hunting". Most of us would know, that ASX don't investigate ASX listed companies, their business model, revenue sources by item, or even most ASX company announcements.
ASX don't and have barely questioned most ASX listed companies in the past - we could all name at least 10-20 companies ASX should have questioned during the past 2 years. ASIC have been granted new powers but ASX haven't and how can ASX be an 'impartial' investigating party when they derive revenue from all ASX listed company trades and major share broker trading 'BOTS'.
For some unfathomable/undescribed reason, ASX have 'singled' out ISX----- and only since ISX asked ASIC to look into matters raised by the OM report of 10 Sept.
I hope ASX realise they may need to prove in the future to 'investigators and other inquiry teams' that they, ASX, were legally, socially, ethically and professionally at 'arm's length' from OM owners/authors, Shapiro AFR etc. in relation to their investigation of ISX.
There are certainly many other ASX listed companies who ASX never question - particularly any with Chinese ownership or Chinese control of assets and/or funds (ASX investor funds and IPO funds).
Am very angry re ASX's latest questionnaire.
Fortunately for once, I did place some troll posters on ignore - knowing I can go back and compile any questionable/collusive/related to published media posts later.
DON'T forget - email any media articles that ISX should be made aware of to
[email protected]
Even Motley Fool articles. ISX should take a stance and send a message to those who publish slanderous, illegitimate, damaging, distorted and contrived articles.
