Its Not even worth comparing WPL to FAR.
WPL is making about $800M in profits per year versus FAR, none.
WPL can borrow at 2.75% (recent) versus FAR, who can't even borrow at junk bond rates at circa 10%.
WPL pays dividends every year versus FAR, who pays ZERO dividends.
WPL is NOT facing extinction versus FAR who is facing an existential situation: if FAR can not sell its SNE interest, it will be insolvent as a company.
FAR at most, has about 2 months left to get its house in order or every single FAR investor will lose 100% (most likely) of their investment.
If you are an investor right now, would you prefer to hold FAR shares or WPL shares?
