I don't understand what is going on here. Up until today, the market was not aware of the speeding ticket, only the pending announcement regarding the HoA.
Speeding tickets are generally issued within a day or two. This one took a little longer and two weeks to respond. The ASX wanted a response before opening on 16 August or else AXP would have to request a trading halt.
However, the suspension on 16 August was not for the delay in responding to the speeding ticket but for a pending announcement regarding a material Heads of Agreement.
So is AXP in a position to have the non existent TH removed for the speeding ticket but suspension remains due to the HOA not being resolved?
