lake announcement states "Lake Resources Announces Two Phase Development to Targeted Production of50Ktpa Battery Grade Lithium Carbonate"
ASX: are these production targets as defined in ASX guidelines?
LKE: NO they are maximum capacity targets
why not call them that then? Why include phase 2 capacity when you haven't even figured out phase 1? Why mention any numbers at all, as you'll recall lake announced "The Company is doing a rigorous evaluation of project timelines and estimated capital costs".. production targets are not mentioned, so why commit to releasing numbers which were as yet to be validated by the DFS? Oh, because showing 50ktpa is still the aim might help the SP which of course it didn't, they are only locked in to 50ktpa because Steve set that target and he had absolutely no clue if it was feasible or not, he just said it as fuel for the hype train
