I agree with Bob. I'm only a newcomer, but for what its worth AP appears to have dug itself into a reasonably sizable credibility deficit with both the ASX and SHs. One consequence is the "Please explain" and then the "Please explain in a way that removes any doubt" letters. Another IMHO is that AP has been saying repeatedly since 31 December: "Failure Analysis conducted by thecompany upon receipt of the [6"] wafer, revealed the root cause to be a faulty etch process in one of the earlierfabricated layers of the device, an easily correctable problem." (emphasis mine). I note Mr van Boheemen referenced this statement three times in his latest letter. This is very good news, except SHs don't appear to be buying it. The fun thing is that true statements can come from sources that have no credibility. The last time the boy cried wolf, there really was a wolf. I suspect that may be the case this time.
