Although I am incredibly cynical re ADY I have to say that that did not look like the typical 'forced' pump and dump.

The uptrend started a couple of weeks ago with some subtle but strong buying. Needless to say this is soon flagged to the bored day traders looking to piggy back what they assume is good news. Their buying brings in more day traders, a volume spike/gold rush frenzy, during which, as we all know, most lose money.

The price has actually returned to trend, it will be interesting to see where it goes from here.

Small cap stocks like these are not generally shorted, so volume spikes tend to result in upwards movement. The panic sell when the tide goes out tends to be even more violent.

When all is said though, what this does prove is how easy with 150K it would be to precipitate a P&D with a vulnerable stock like this, especially once you up the volume buying and selling at the same price to bring in the punters. The beauty of cheap, or no, fees.
