That is, Langsford might decide to save the company the time,cost and embarrassment of a public execution of one or more board members listed in the 249D by playing a trump card of his own in this instance. Which would be to retire those board members listed in the 249D and replace them with his own hand picked candidates.
I think this action renders the 249D null and void, since the directors listed in the notice have retired. However a EGM would still be required to explain what's going on.
Either way the cost of the whole process can be considerable especially for a nano cap, not to mention another profitable day for the lawyers what ever happens.
Plus of course in addition to the cost there is the disruption to company operations, leading up to and after the EGM for some months.
