What a sorry saga.
The CEO sounds genuine enough, but my feel is that his support crew are out of their depth or not on top of their game for so many problems to surface.I'd have thought managers on top of their game would anticipate what the risks of the projects are and ensure they don't happen. It's how you turn risks to advantage or be whacked by risks going bad that separate a successful from a poor contractor. IF I'm right, it sounds reasonably systemic in their operation and a continuation of their past problems.
I did hold the options but quit them a week back.
